Hype Energy eForce India F1 Esports driver Marcel Kiefer

RAVENOL are happy to announce that Hype Energy eForce India’s professional F1 Esports driver Marcel Kiefer will be joining us on Stand 3640 at Autosport International.

Marcel is a rising star in the Esports world, having only got into professional Eracing relatively recently, a few months before the 2017 F1 Esports Series. Despite this, he impressed enough to be picked outright for the Hype Energy eForce India team and drove brilliantly in this year’s F1 Esports Series, outcompeting several highly experienced drivers to take 3 podiums and finish 5th overall in the drivers’ standings.

As well as his natural talent, Marcel also works hard to improve his driving and general fitness, and spends many hours a day training on the simulator and at the gym. He’s also being helped by the fitness team at Force India, who are helping him further develop his driving skills.

On the RAVENOL stand, Marcel will be demonstrating Force India’s professional simracing equipment, which guests on stand 3640 will also be able to take a hot lap in. Why not test your racing skills against one of the world’s top Esports drivers? The fastest driver around our circuit partner, the Hockenheimring, will win a place on a tour of Force India’s factory and race control centre in Silverstone.

We caught up with Marcel who took a break from his busy schedule to tell us how he feels about joining RAVENOL at Autosport:

“I’m excited for the Autosport event in January,” he said. “It’s the first time for me at a venue like this and it will be amazing to meet new and already familiar faces. I’m really looking forward to it especially as I’m going to be there with our Technical Partners RAVENOL.”

Autosport International will be held at the NEC in Birmingham from the 10th to the 13th of January. RAVENOL will be on Stand 3640 in Hall 3 on all 4 days.

Yea well I thought only McLaren had a eFormula program because it was showcased during the later part of the F1 season last year, good to know Force India is in the mix with a smaller budget!

Yes all the teams except Ferrari have an official Eracing team and they compete in the F1 Esports Pro Series which was televised earlier in the year.
