RAVENOL’s Giant Hockenheimring Can Gets a Formula One Makeover

RAVENOL’s iconic oil can, proudly standing over the start-finish line at the Hockenheimring in Germany, has had a Formula One style make over in time for this weekend’s DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) season opener at the circuit.

The giant can, constructed in 2014, has been decorated with a new label displaying the car of RAVENOL’s Formula One Technical Partner, the Sahara Force India team.

Motorsport Director Martin Huning told us, “I’m looking forward to being back at Hockenheim and seeing our spruced-up can. Even more so as the label was redesigned based on our Formula One involvement. And although I have been at Hockenheim many, many times, the RAVENOL can still makes me turn my head every now and then. And as I was massively involved in the building project it is something very special to me. Nice to now see it in its new guise.”

RAVENOL are also the Official Lubricants Partner to the DTM support series, the Audi Sport Seyffarth R8 LMS Cup, supplying oils and other products for the cars. Fans of the DTM and the Audi Sport Seyffarth R8 LMS Cup can see the cars in the UK when they come to the Brands Hatch circuit on the 11–12th of August.
