European F3 champion Mick Schumacher is representing his team Prema, and his lubricants partner RAVENOL, at the prestigious Macau Grand Prix. Mick will be wearing an eye-catching gold helmet proudly displaying the RAVENOL logo on it, and on the side of his car is written “Keep Fighting” in reference to his father, Michael Schumacher, the former F1 legend.
This weekend (17th / 18th November), the 65th year the Grand Prix will be held on the streets of Macau, one of China’s Special Administrative Regions. The 6.12-kilometre Guia Street Circuit has many tight turns and narrow sections lined by metal crash barriers with little run off if something goes wrong. Little wonder then that this iconic race, attended by many former racing drivers and celebrities from around the world, is regarded as one of the most dangerous in the world and can be a place to create or break legends of motor racing.
Alongside Mick, also hoping to make their mark FIA F3 World Cup, are his Prema team mates Guanyu Zhou, Ralf Aron, Marcus Armstrong and Robert Shvartzman. They will be taking on the likes of British driver Dan Ticktum, last year’s Macau winner, who drivers for Motopark Academy. In addition, the race meeting will feature several high-profile series, such as the FIA GT World Cup, the FIA WTCR, the Motorbike Grand Prix, the Touring Car Cup and the Lotus Cup. The race action will be streamed live via the FIA website.
RAVENOL has been partnered to the Prema team and 2018 FIA F3 European Champion Mick Schumacher for several years, providing them with the highest quality racing oils. The recent successes of Prema and Mick show that they have clearly benefited from RAVENOL’s use of the latest developments in lubrication technology, such as the new USVO® racing oils range, as well as our full support as racing fans. Forza Mick and Prema!
