Tough start to the BTCC for BTC Racing11 August 2020 | Ravenol Marketing Updates from the opening rounds of the BTCC for BTC Racing Smiles all around for Josh Cook after the opening rounds of the BTCC, finishing off the weekend with a 3rd place! BTC Racing celebrated a promising start to the 2020 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship at Donington Park claiming a maiden podium finish, Jack Sears Trophy, and points in all three rounds during an action-packed opening weekend. The cars were looking great and the pace was good, the RAVENOL oil bringing them engines to the front of the grid! Donnington Results:  Qualifying: Tom Chilton #3: P16, Josh Cook #66: P8, Michael Crees #777: P18 Round 1: Tom Chilton #3: P10, Josh Cook #66: P13, Michael Crees #777: P16 Round 2: Tom Chilton #3: P13, Josh Cook #66: P10, Michael Crees #777: P14 Round 3: Tom Chilton #3: P12, Josh Cook #66: P3, Michael Crees #777: P13 Rollercoaster weekend for BTC Racing at Brands Hatch! Round 4 for the BTC Racing trio was a mixed bag of results with Josh Cook having contact forcing him to pit to then rejoin and finish P21, Tom Chilton battles his way through the pack to finish P5 and Michael Crees finishing P12. Round 5 didn’t go as well as planned for the team as Michael Crees received contact and finished the race in the gravel, both Josh Cook and Tom Chilton were forced to retire with mechanical issues. Round 6 was a brilliant comeback for the team where all 3 drivers made up many places, Josh Cook received some contact after a brilliant first lap where he then battled his way back to finish P17! Micha el Crees had a clean race finishing P11 and Tom Chilton making up 15 places to finish P8! Now time for a weekend off and time for the drivers and team to recharge ready for Oulton Park!
