Technical Sales Executive / Business Development Manager

Although our current UK focus is on the Automotive sector, our extensive product portfolio also covers the Marine, Motorcycle, Commercial Vehicle and Industrial Markets. Whilst still a small team, we are fast becoming a progressive leader in the market-place, where customer care and satisfaction is paramount. The foundations are firmly in place and the scope for rapid expansion is there.

The overall responsibility of the role of the Technical Sales Executive / Business Development Manager is to generate business and increase sales by building partnerships, whilst increasing our brand profile in the UK. You will be responsible for defining and implementing a coherent business development strategy and be able to embrace our company culture, processes and procedures whilst looking towards future substantial growth within the business. You will ensure our reputation is maintained for high quality design, products, customer service and attention to detail in a friendly, efficient manner.

Sales Executive / Business Development Manager Position Requirements

  • Several years experience in the lubricants industry
  • Motivated and determined to succeed
  • Hungry, honest and prepared to work hard
  • Able to generate new enquiries, research to find new projects, persist to gain traction with Decision Makers and follow up to close the sale
  • Evaluate enquiries and prepare quotations
  • Ensure profitable sales and meet goals and targets set.
  • Maintain close contact with customers, build up a rapport and establish customer loyalty
  • Exemplary project management
  • Ability to work alone and deliver effectively under pressure
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • A good instinct for business
  • A pleasant demeanour and appearance
  • A great sense of humour

The successful applicant will be based at our UK distribution centre near Welshpool, Powys, set in a beautiful location with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. As this is primarily an office based position a company car is not provided but mileage will be paid where face to face meetings are deemed necessary.

We offer a realistic basic salary and a generous commission on new business with no limit on earnings.
