You are an articulate, self-motivated individual capable of creating the right message for today’s digital generation and will have recently obtained a degree in marketing, business, journalism or similar. You have an interest in cars (or bikes), mechanics and all things technical, possess strong organisational and project planning skills and have extensive knowledge of all current social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. In short, you are a career minded person with a burning desire to succeed.

Your Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns
  • Oversee a social media strategy
  • Manage and maintain the company website(s)
  • Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts
  • Understand how to market and build brand awareness on social media platforms
  • Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
  • Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
  • Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website(s)
  • Fix any errors or bugs in online content
  • Edit and post videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites
  • Create online banner adverts
  • Write copy for email marketing campaigns
  • Manage our NEWS page
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments
  • Work on printed material to supplement online products
  • Use all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Setup social media strategies
  • Ensure posts go out regularly to social media platforms
  • Analyse and report on data in a timely manner
  • Understand business development and how to attract new customers
  • Manage and maximise our motorsport sponsorships
  • Manage our involvement in trade exhibitions
  • Attend motorsport and other events

Required skills:

  • Knowledge of the core fundamental principles of SEO and its purpose
  • Up to date knowledge of digital marketing techniques
  • Strong writing and language (English) skills
  • A strong team player willing to help move the company forward
  • Highly organised and demonstrate ability to work on initiative
  • Ability to explain technical issues coherently to others
  • Ability to handle time-sensitive projects and work to deadlines
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Absolutely fluent in English, both oral and written
  • Full UK (or European) Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits

  • An initial salary of £18,000 - £25,000 dependant on qualifications and experience

You will need to have a flexible attitude as you will be working partly from our Welshpool, Powys office, partly from home, and partly travelling the length and breadth of the country attending Exhibitions and Motorsport events, which take place mainly at weekends.
